I am using Microsoft provided UI Automation for automating a Windows application. I am using Inspect.exe as an object spy to get the UI object properties.What I am observing is the object properties shown by Inspect.exe differ in some
machines.For eg- One object is shown as 'Edit control type' in one machine while the same object is shown as 'Text Control type' in another machine.Also sometimes I observe that the Object hierarchy itself is shown differently by Inspect.exe in different machines.
I have checked the machine configuration as well.Both the mahcines are Win 7 (64 bit )machines.Also the Office version is same Office 2007(32 bit) in both the machines.I am not sure why Inspect.exe is showing different properties for the same object
on different machines.
I would like to know whether there are different versions of IUIAutomationClient.dll.
Can someone please help me and throw some light on the issue I am facing hee.
