    Hello Everyone,

    My concern is, I have passed Exam 462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Databases, my question is more like, if I take exam Exam 765: Provisioning SQL Databases, I got the MCSA 2016 Certification, or would I need another exam to take ?, thanks.

    Hi,

    For MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 you need 70-461, 70-462 and 70-463.

    So you need 70-461 and 70-463 for MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014

    For MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration you need 70-764 and 70-765.

    For an MCSA certification on SQL 2016 exam 70-462 does not count, only for the MSCA on SQL 2012/2014.
