Unfortunately, the installed copy of Windows 7 Ultimate is a counterfeit copy. Please see: Request Dell Backup Discs in order to install the correctly licensed version of Windows that originally came with your Dell computer.

Carey - WTH makes you think this isn't a genuine installation?? Granted the BIOS is dated a little early for certainty, but there's no other evidence there, unless you're seeing something I'm not. There's a problem with the licensing store, sure - but nothing else that I can see.

Despite Carey's assertion, I can see no real evidence that this is a counterfeit installation (although it's still a possibility - for what version and edition of Windows is the machine licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case?)To my eye, the problem lies with your Licensing Store - which has somehow been corrupted - and with a number of file mismatches.First try to fix the Store corruption:-Recreate the Licensing Store
1) Click Start button.
2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
8) Type: net start sppsvc
9) Type: slui.exe
10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.
Run MGADiag again, and post the report
Hopefully, that will have removed at least one of the errors, and may give us better data to work with.

Dell does not sell Windows 7 Ultimate OEM as an option for a Dell Vostro 1050 at the time of purchase. If one wishes to purchase Windows 7 Ultimate from Dell, it will be a conventional retail upgrade version or more likely, a Windows Anytime Upgrade, both of which are retail licenses. The OP has a Windows 7 Ultimate OEM SLP which is a well known counterfeit.

Since this is a primarily Business machine - at least in India - then anything is possible. I do agree, however, that it does tend to make the likelihood of counterfeiting much higher.

PLEASE repost this in YOUR OWN NEW THREAD to avoid confusion for all - especially me <g>Please also post details of your Licensing - you appear to be hooked into a KMS client license, but there are significant parts of the report missing, if that's the case. You also have significant file mismatches - which leads to the thought that you have malware, and/or a counterfeit copy of Windows.
