Problems with OneCare Account Summary page never loading? RRS feed

  • Question

  •

Can anyone tell me why I cannot access my Windows Live Account summary page?  It just loads and loads and never completes.

I loaded OneCare on my laptop at home and because of RAM issues and laptop performance, I uninstalled and gave to my father.   Now, when my father had the software loaded, someone told him I needed to go in and no longer have his version associated with my email address and I figured I would need to do that from the Account Summary site with no such luck.

Anyone have any ideas?  I have been nothing but frustrated with Windows Live OneCare and would like to switch this all over to my pops.

    Any help would be great.

  • If you activated OneCare with your LiveID, then the subscription is under your ID and cannot be transferred. Your father can use it to the end of the subscription and then reinstall it and subscribe with his own ID.

What account summary are you referring to? You can view the status of your subscription by signing in at http://billing.microsoft.com

  • Are you referring to http://account.live.com ?

You're off topic for this forum, which is dedicated to Windows Live OneCare.

Support for Windows Live ID and other Windows Live programs and services:

Go to http://support.live.com and sign in with a LiveID

Click on the Windows Live service or product you need help with.

If you are not presented with an email support form, but are instead redirected to help.live.com for that service/product, in the page that opens from http://help.live.com select any topic on the left hand side or search for a question in the search box.

The results of your search or the clicked topic appears in the right hand frame, along with a tiny link in the lower right hand corner – “Get more help.”

Click that tiny link and you will get to a page with a link “Contact support”

Click that link and you will be presented with the email support form to fill out. Provide as much detail as possible and you should get a response from support within 24 hours.
