    Can I create a program that runs the same way on a website as well as on the desktop?

    Or would I have to change a few things depending on the platform?

    I want to use C#.

    This is a forum for SQL Server. You would get better answers in a .NET forum.

    Not clear what's the relation to SQL Server, the topic of this forum?

    That are two different application types; data & business logic can be shared between them but frontend technic is completely different.
