Updating a one to many record set in a workflow

  Good Morning,

  I am trying to update a master record and then have the value in the updated field be pushed to all related records.  I have found this solution (unless anyone knows of a better one).  http://crm2011distributewf.codeplex.com/

  My question is how do I tell it to use the values in the record's field vs a value that I enter into the workflow.
