  • I have windows live  one care ,I don not want new verison of internt explorer 7or 8  how can i turn light green on one care.

  • You should be using Internet Explorer 8 because it is much more secure than IE6 or 7. One Care will not go green unless your computer is optimally secured, which requires the latest available version of Interent Explorer.

  • Thanks Jim.  But I had internet exp 8 and could not reinstall Windows live one care.  Plus I did not like internet exp 8.

  • Having IE8 should not have any impact on your ability to install OneCare as it is fully compatible.
    You will not be able to avoid using IE7 now or IE8 when it becomes a critical update offered via Automatic Updates in the near future and be in green status in OneCare.
