I know you say you haven't installed any add-ins, but have you installed any programs from the server desktop, or made any configuration changes other than through the Dashboard?

Okay. The first thing I would look at is the additional software you've installed and other changes you've made; it's likely that it's messed up the .Net Framework somehow. As for fixing it, the supported method is going to be to reinstall Windows Home Server. That will fix the issue. If it's more invasive than you like, you can try repairing the .Net Framework by uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Once you've got everything working again, however you do so, I recommend you think twice about installing anything on your server other than an add-in that does something you truly can't live without. Windows Home Server is not designed to be a general purpose server a la Windows Server 2008 R2; if you need general purpose server software you should buy general purpose server software. And if you need to use your server as a desktop machine, A) you really shouldn't (most computer instability issues are the result of repeated installation/removal/updating of software over long periods of time), and B) you should consider just using a desktop OS and sharing some folders manually.

Ken,
Is this a good website to follow for the procedures to uninstall and reinstall the .Net Framework?
