  • Question

  • I failed to read the post in this forum before I bought a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate on ebay.  After reading about the PID, and how to check it against the 067, I did so.  The three didgits in my PID are 068. This got me a little nervous. My windows validation went fine. I dont want to loose my validation a month or two from now.  If you would be so kind to check this for me I would be very greatful.

    Thanks

  • The second set of numbers in a Windows Product ID: 065, 066, 067 and 068 identify a Windows 7 Ultimate product key as originating from a Microsoft MSDN Subscription.  Unfortunately, your product key will eventually be blocked by Microsoft since it is a not-for-resale MSDN Subscription product key.  You need to contact the eBay seller and demand a refund ASAP.
