Can i add additional attributes to be searched on RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a cutom entity and it allows us to search on new_name, but we want to type in a number and have it search teh corresponding attribute.  Kind of like how you can type in an email address in the contact lookup.

  • Hello, David.

You should customize Lookup veiw for your custom entity and change there Find columns - Open Lookup view for your new entity and clickAdd Find Colums there. Once you've changed it save view and publish entity.

  • Andriy's recommendation also applies to the "Quick Find view", for searching your entity with the view from the main CRM window.
