Telephony Routing rules - no user active endpoints. RRS feed

  • Is there a way to set a default PBX endpoint that calls will be routed to when a user has not defined any call forward settings in OCS and currently has no active endpoints (UC / Exhange 2007 integration not available).  Or is there another way to replace the continuous tone that gets played when a call is routed to a user without any active endpoints.

  • We managed to fix this one.  Buy getting the internal phone routing correct togther with adding a number to the forward calls after setting.  When their are no end points connected the system will forward calls to the stipulated number immediately.  It looks like one of the routing rules was preventing this from happening previously.

  • Forwarding needs to be configured @ user level unless you have Exchange UM configured
    There is no Admin interface for this unless you create a login script that changes Communicator settings
