Eyestrain in newer versions of office RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am for various reasons extremely sensitive to visual inputs, and require a 'steady' 'calm' screen.

For reasons I can't explain, some applications look less 'calm' on the screen. I suspect it may have to do with the use of hardware accelleration, but idk.

It used to be so that Office 2016 was 'better' and 2019 was 'worse'. Thus I've stuck with 2016.

Some of the recent updates, however, seem to have ruined this for me, and grrr, why is automatic updating always turned on without any notices nowadays?

Anyways, any way to roll back to previous versions? (and/or any explanations for said discreprancies?)

    Thank you

  • Thanks, I tried posting there, but for some reason it wouldn't let me choose the right forum at the time.
