Two default views in activity list RRS feed

  • One of our clients has somehow been configured to have two default views in the Activities list in CRM 2011.  We can select a non default view and set it to be the new default, but that doesn't eliminate the second default from showing up as the default.  All of the functionality seems to be ok, except we are continually having an Outlook 32 bit crash.  I think the Outlook client is "confused" by two default views popping up.

    With the view set as a default, CRM will not allow the view to become deactive or even deleted, so there isn't any apparent UI fix to the issue.

    This is definitely not a supported way. And I myself wont like to do this.

     

    but, if you want, you can try this.

    In your crm database, search for the view in savedquery table

    select  IsDefault, Name, Description , * from SavedQuery

    where name = 'yourviewname'

    You can try to change isdefault value to 0.
