MSCRM 2011 - increase Address Name field length issue (not working) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I am using MSCRM 2011 (on-premise) UR 15.  I have increased Address Name 1 (address1_name) and Address Name 2 (address2_name) field length from 200 to 500 and then publish.  However, when I import a Contact or update a contact, if the address1_name or address2_name exceed 200 characters, there will be a "SQL Server Error" appears.  Any help is highly appreciated.  Thanks.

  • you might need to address fields on "customeraddress" entity as well, so go to ""customeraddress" entity and then update length on relevant fields on them as well.

  • Hello,

I faced this issue once. Solution is open Address entity and increase length of name field to 500 chars.
