  • I am trying copy the files,but iam getting the follwong error message "Cyclic Redundancy Check" .Pls help me out..

  • CRC errors happen when there's a bad spot on the media of your hard disk. Data recovery and disk repair are often possible with the right tools.
    The cyclic redundancy check or "CRC" error indicates a bad spot on your hard drive.The fact that you're seeing it when you try to copy a file indicates that the bad spot may be within the file itself.

    You need to verify that, and then you need to try to recovery your file or repair your hard drive.


    In your case, if you are copying from a CD, the CD itself might be damaged . Try cleaning it up with some soft agent like deodrant & try copying again.
