Can't configure Forward Mailbox for CRM Online RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I'm having some issue configuring e-mail in CRM Online. Here is what i have done.

    I have two accounts

    1)Forward mailbox account (User account)

    2) InboxForward Mailbox (Shared Mailbox)

    I have configured inbox rule through powershell to forward incoming emails from InboxForward to Forward mailbox. That works

    I have configured the Forward mailbox in CRM online and when i test it. i get the message below in alerts

    The email configuration test for your mailbox xxxxx was completed successfully for incoming.

    But when i send a message to inboxForward Mailbox and Forward mailbox. I'm getting the error below

    An error occurred while creating the incoming email "FW: xxxxxxxxxxx CRM:0047001" in Microsoft Dynamics CRM for the mailbox xxxxxxx.

    I have a feeling I'm misconfigured something but i don't know where to look anymore. I have been battling this for some days now. Can anyone help please?

    I am using Office 365 and CRM Online.

  • Hi there, just wondered if you found any solution to this? As I have the same issue...

    In the CrmAsyncService platform traces I can see: >Email  for Forward Mailbox [guid] was rejected because the email  was not a valid forwarded mail item.
