  • Can you please confirm if you are able to upload any other plugin (some are present as example in the SDK)?

I am trying to find if the problem is with your dll or its a problem with your registration tool. Also can you look paste more info trace on the error?

One more you need to be deployment administrator for registering a plugin

  • Can you open deployment manager generally found at the following location on the CRM server

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Tools\Microsoft.Crm.DeploymentManager.exe

In the deployment manager you need to be added as a deployment manger so that you can upload a plugin

  • Yup devashish...it worked in Sandbox mode...what is the exact problem and why do we use sandbox  or  None option can you please explain me???Does it make any difference??

  • Hi,

Plugins in CRM Online (= hosted by MS) have to be in sandbox mode - this is required by security issues. The sandbox mode prevent the plugin from unsupported coding actions on the server machine!
