Obvious problem. RRS feed

  • This is an obvious problem I'm having with windows 8.1. I just upgraded from XP and I love windows 8.1, but its doing a few stupid things that should be easily fixable. One you can't delete things like the sports section and customize your section, so it has some user friendly issue. Two it's having an odd impact on Adobe Flash player when I'm watching youtube. When its not full screen I can't manually increase/decrease the quality of the image because it thinks I'm pausing it. I don't have that problem in firefox, and normally I use firefox (I'm talking about using youtube in Internet Explorer), but firefox always has tiny font and I can't change it that pisses me off too. Also, when I'm in full screen sometimes, fairly often the mouse doesn't once it 'hides' after you haven't touched it, but you have to use the key board, which mean you can't relax and use mouse. On top of that when I am able to change the quality (I don't know how that happens exact because it undoes it and then does it, but doesn't improve once it's choosen) I either have to reset, refresh it and it does not seem to consistently work. These are basic issues that everybody else avoids, so I'm expecting them to be fixed in the future or I will limit Microsoft products to just this operating. I'm going to try Chrome and maybe that doesn't have the problems of Firefox or internet explorer.
