I have never used Windows Server 2003 before, but am working towards my MCSA and MCSE certifications. I am about to start learning Windows Server 2003 by using the Microsoft Press Training Kit books, and want to install Windows Server 2003 in a virtual machine or on a spare computer solely for educational purposes.
I will need it longer than the 180-day trial version available on the CD that comes with the books.
Does anyone have any recommendations on the least expensive way to get Windows Server 2003 for personal educational use to learn the product?
Just to be very clear, I want a legitimate copy of the OS. I am not trying to bypass the trial length or obtain an illegal copy.
That's a great suggestion. I didn't even realize that Technet was an affordable option. Plus it will give me access to other products to learn for additional certifications. Thanks!
