64-bit version needed when i only have 32-bit RRS feed

  • Hi, I received a 32-bit onecare boxed product months ago. i just open it and attempted to install in in my new HP which happens to have a 64-bit processor. Can MS help me?

  • SImply go to the Windows Live OneCare web site and click the Free Trial link. There's nothing on the disk but a loader and some support libraries, all of which are downloaded automatically from the web if they're not available locally.

    Once you've got the trial running, just Activate it using the 25 Character PIN inside the box. Make sure you don't enter your Credit Card info when installing or Activating so it isn't charged, just use the PIN. You can always enter that later if you want to use auto-payment in the future.
