Backup not finishing RRS feed

    I have a new WHS installation with a direct attach using a wired connection. I have two machine conneted to the net wirelessly with the WHS connector software installed. Neither machine has finished the first backup. They seem to stall and stop advancing the progress bar. The server indicated the backup is in progress and the clients do to.

    how can I get this to finish a first backup successfully? How can I diagnose why it stalls?

    I think you are much better off doing that first backup over a wire. After that you should be fine with wireless, since the backup sets are much smaller.
