Where can I get any server installer add-in for WHS? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been looking for the any service installer but I haven't had any luck finding it.  I have tried the link http://webwacker.ath.cx/Web/Windows%20Services/ and http://www.wegotserved.co.uk/windows-home-server-add-ins/ and they both bring me to some strange blog.

Any idea where else I can download this file from?

  • Do you mean Instsrv.exe (Service Installer) and/or Srvany.exe (Applications as Services Utility)?

If so you can download them as part of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools download.

If not... you'll need to be a bit more specific.

  • Someone should probably let Marcel know that we are now leeching off of his home internet connection in case he gets hammered... any chance someone has an email address for the man?

  • Does anyone know how to obtain the "Any Service Installer" program?   Neither of the two commonly posted links work.

    Thanks
