Transaction Management using the CRM 4.0 API RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
I am trying to solve a problem that I have not found a solution for so far. I have 2 custom entities A and B. Using the API's I have to insert a record into A and if it succeeds I have to insert the record into B. If inserting the record fails for B, I have to roll back the insertion that I made into A.
Has anyone run into this problem?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Anirudh

  • Crm API does not support transaction management.
Not exactly a Transaction management solution. However, you can delete the  first record if the second  call failed.
Insert in A, Insert in B, If Insert in B fails, delete the record in A.
