Genuine Windows gets "Windows is not Genuine" error

Question
-
To make a somewhat long story short my genuine copy of windows (came preloaded on a computer bought from the store) has somehow been flagged as not genuine. I've tried to contact microsoft support, but no one will talk to me for free and I refuse to given them another red cent of my money. I'm counting down the days until I can get a mac, but I digress. The only diffence I've noticed so far is the background, and as I understand it some sercurity features will not work. I already run Kaspersky Internet Security so I think I'm ok there. Is there anything else about "non genuine mode" that I should know since my computer is probably going to be in it permenently?

The sticker says windows 7 home prem OA
the rest just seems to be numbers and the product key
it doesn't seem to say if it's 64 bit or something else, not sure if that's important :/
here are the results from the report

For some reason, your system is unable to see the SLIC table that should be present to be able to self-activate the OEM_SLP Key in use.You need to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker using the link at the bottom of the System properties page – you may nee to activate by telephone. Please post a new MGADiag report when complete so we can check that all is as it should be.

[MODS – please move to the WGA forums]To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )Once saved, run the tool.Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report. To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.- **in your own thread**, pleasePlease also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine, but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
