live one care installation

Question

i had a concern with internet conectivity, microsoft tech instructed me to remove it, now conectivity is resolved, i went to reinstall live one care and got an error id. 0044-80070641 installation error. what do i need too do. thank you.

Download and run the Cleanup tool - http://social.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/399071e2-49dc-4767-932d-d261e3965943/
Then give the installation another try, it should work. The 0044 error typically means that bits of OneCare were not removed, preventing a reinstall from being successful.
