How to make proposals to Microsoft Company considering any positive answers ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

How to make proposals to Microsoft Company considering any positive answers ?
Proposals = develop tools, add functionnalities, make improvment, ...,etc.

How to be sure that Microsoft take in charge the proposals or the request done by the Administrators ?

After that, how to follow the proposals on Microsoft side ?

In fact, since many years, I see many issues without any positive answers on Microsoft side.
Sometimes, I receive or I make some proposals to bypass the problem inside the issues; but sometimes only; many times, the problem is still alive.
I would like that Microsoft create a chapter inside Technet to open issues or defects or improvments, and make answers through new developments...

    Regards,

  • The place to make suggestions depends on the specific product. There seems to be a UserVoice site for each major product category, but I cannot find a home UserVoice page to direct you to. For example, for Windows Server you would go here:

    https://windowsserver.uservoice.com/forums/295047-general-feedback

where you would select a product or category, Active Directory or Management Tools. For the OneDrive product you would start here:

    https://onedrive.uservoice.com/forums/262982-onedrive

Each product or category seems to have its own UserVoice forum. You can make suggestions, search for similar posts, vote on suggestions you agree with, and add comments. Microsoft people monitor these posts and often reply.

But this particular forum is for questions and discussions about the TechNet Wiki. I will move this question to a forum where others may have more suggestions. But I suggest you reply with details about the products where you have ideas.

  • As Richard suggests you can make suggestions for various products on uservoice but there really is no mechanism for end users to track rejection or acceptance.
