UK Money 2005 and hleOFXquotes with US stock price problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, hope I can get some help on this one - it must have been seen by others.
I'm using Money 2005 and hleOFX to get stack prices from FT . com.
All works well with UK stocks, however Euro and Dollar prices are being treated as though they are in GBP and are therefore being converted. Not sure if this is being done by hleOFX or by Money.
For example, I have a USD stock WALGREEN.    FT reports into my RESULTS.CSV file:
Name Symbol: Exchange Exchange Last Price Currency for Last Price Quantity Today's % Value Change Current Value Currency for Current Value Total Gain/Loss Currency for Total Gain/Loss
    Walgreen Co WAG:NYQ NYQ 57.48 USD 165 0.14% 9,484.20 USD 1,431.18 USD

    My MAPPER.CSV file is set-up:
    MSMoneySymbol QuotesSourceSymbol? IsMutualFund? IsOptions? QuotesSourceCurrency?
    US:WAG WAG:NYQ USD

The stock is specified as a dollar account in Money.
When the OFX file is imported, Money shows the stock value as $92.54.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

  • Dear Lawsonuk,

I think you ought to go to Glyn Simpson's website and ask the question there.  In his message to this string he said that he would be unlikely to see replies or questions here and suggested that people should go to http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/651.aspx.

    Christopher.

  • Hi Christopher,

I've visited Glyn's site but can't spot where to post a question.

Could you guide me to the appropriate part of the site?

    Many Thanks
