How to configure Basic User Access Rights in CRM for Basic License User RRS feed

  • Hello Everyone,

    I have gone through the 'Volume Licensing and Price Guide' provided by Microsoft for MSCRM. It has documented very clearly about the Access Right for Basic Users.

    But When I change the License Type (Under Settings -> Administration -> Users) for individual Users from Professional to Basic,  I do not see any changes. Even after the change in License Type, the Basic user still has access to Quote, Orders and Invoices which shouldn't be the case formally.

    Am I missing anything ?  Or, do I need to configure a Separate Security Role for Basic User as mentioned and Assign then to Users individually ?

    Please guide me how to configure the Access Rights for Basic User as documented by Microsoft in their guide .
