Hello, I am having serious issues with my Vista.  I am unable to access "Control Panel", "Personalize" and many other Windows tools.  I am having problems with WMP 11, and IE.  On top of that video is taking up 100% of my processor (2.6 GHZ P4) System Idle takes up 60-70% of my RAM.

The whole time th validation window pops up.  I wold try syste restore but I can't access it.  I am thinking of going ack to XP but want Vita to work.  My Vista is legit, why can't I validate it??????

  • Nolazach,

Since you are using Vista Enterprise edition, please direct all validation questions to the tech support staff at your company.

The mgadiag utility is showing that your installations of Front Page, Visio, and Project an nongenuine installations.  Please remove these nongenuine installations as soon as possible, return to the place of purchase and demand the genuine software that you paid for.  Note:  Your installation of Office 2007 Enterprise is currently showing as genuine.

  • Everything I have Office 2007, Office 2003, and Vista Enterprise was provided to me by my school.  I downloaded an ISO file and burned it to DVD.  This is the same way I recied XP professional SP2, and it worked flawlessly.  The problem I have is due to a problem with windows.  I also have access to ultimate edition but.. I didn't want to go through te hassle of finding all my drivers again, so I used the Enterprise update.  It wasn't until after I installed it that I larned it was Business heavy.  It took sooooooo long to install this version I am wary to try installing ultimate.

So far I like the look and some new features of Vista, but my gut is telling me to roll back to XP.

  • I wanted to add that I can't remove a thing because I can't get into control panel.  Microsofts attempts to make a copy-proof program, have caused nothing but headaches. I thought there may be a few bugs, I didn't think I may have to reload XP from a formatted hard drive just to get back to normal.  IT help please!!!
