    How can I deploy CRM Outlook client 5.0 (2011) via GPO ? The instruction for client 4.0 doesn't work.

    I would suggest SCCM if its possible...

    Create a silent install batch file and deploy to target collection computers via SCCM?

    The real issue here is that while Microsoft CRM used to support a silent installation of the Outlook Client in version 3.0, it is not supported to use the 'Assign' method of GPO installation and users have to go to 'Programs and Features' (or old Add/Remove Programs) to install the client or to use SCCM. MY question would be, why are we no longer able to use GPO's to have the client pushed without having to advertise it to the users via Programs and Features?
