  • Question

  • As from last December I have became an MCT.

I am actively publishing Powershell functions on MSTechnet Gallery.

Today I logged in to do the same and I saw this option 'I have received permission from the involved Microsoft Product team(s) to distribute this as an Official Microsoft Contribution.'

I would definitely love to contribute under Microsoft's umbrella, I am just wondering how I can ask for this approval?

  • First, this forum is for questions and discussions about the TechNet Wiki.

Second, the TechNet Gallery was supposed to be made read-only in December. For some time it was. Recently it seems to be restored. But we are told it will be retired and replaced with something like a GitHub repository. I have not seen an update on the plans since this blog post:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/teamblog/msdn-technet-migration#technet-gallery

I myself have many contributions in the TechNet Gallery, but have not seen that option. I will move this question to a forum where others may have ideas on where to direct you.
