question about Visual Studio 2010 and laptops

I am looking at gettig a new laptop to use for deeloping when I am travelling. It will not be my main development machine. I am getting 8 gb of ram, 64 bit and what I am wondering is will I notice a difference between an Intel I5 or I7 Core processor? I am only programming no game playing. So will an I7 make much a of a difference over an I5?
