Start up problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Suddenly during the last week, when I boot up a query comes up trying to find the file dnssd.dll. I am getting pretty tired of it coming up and having to delete it. I can't find the file on my computer and don't know what it is attached to. Can someone help me out?

  • Hi,

For those that may have the above problem, I found the answer. I bought an Apple, start of the art router, not cheap. It has a file named Apagent.exe that is used in its wire less router program. Unfotunately when I boot up it comes up showing it cannot find the file named dnssd. dll. I went online and found out I could delete it out of the program file and it would not interfere with my router function since I am not using wire less. I hope this helps if you are having a similar problem.

    Take Care,
