Can't Update...Tune Up in Progress RRS feed

  • I've been trying to get updates for my One Care, but it says there is a Tune Up in progerss and I can't get updates until the tune up is done...Problem...The Tune up has been going on for over 12 hours...

  • Tune up can take a while especially if you have large drives with a lot of data on them. You can either wait until tune up completes, then update or cancel tune up, update, then run tune up at a more convenient time.

  • How do I cancel Tune up?  I'm not finding that option anywhere..

  • There should be a tune up icon in the notification area when tune up is running.

  • you mean the wrench?  Does nothing when I click it...And there is no other tune-up icon there...Tune up is still "in progerss",,,I think I'm on my 3rd day.  Still can't update and can't run a scan while tune-up is in progress...I went in to change settings and in the tune up tab...there is also no option to cancel...just reschedule...which...by the way...is not scheduled for now...Note...my computer status right now is "at risk"...

  • This is rather odd. I suggest restarting your computer to end the tune up.
