As Rob mentioned, cross browser support will be in Update Rollup 12. Polaris is the next release for CRM Online. Neither UR 12 or Polaris include a Mobile offering at this time other than what is currently included - Mobile Express, free edition.
You'll want to reach out to a Mobile solution provider like CWR or Resco for your Mobile needs.

As of now, there is a beta release available. You will have to register, take a survey and then you can download it if you wish to test functionality.

Most likely the Q2 2012 Service Update release will be delayed to Q3, but this is just my personal guess. There's no official release date information available from Microsoft at this point, but this blog post from yesterday says "sometime in July 2012":
Our CRM Online instance in EMEA data center had a service break this morning, but the version of CRM was not updated and the build number is still 5.0.9688.1561 (UR5 and a bit), whereas US data centers have been already updated to 5.0.9690.2174 (UR7+). It also looks like our organization still hasn't been moved to the OSDP platform, although I'm not 100% sure how you could verify this. I simply tried the following tool and was still able to authenticate without the OSDP option, so that's why I'm assuming it's still on the old platform.

Wow, July, i think this will be a shock to a lot of customers who saw the road map which states Q2. I guess Q2 has 4 days remaining so it won't be realistic to expect in Q2Wednesday, June 27, 2012 7:59 AM

I downloaded it and installed it, but it threw an exception as soon as i open CRM :)Wednesday, June 27, 2012 7:59 AM

You can keep an eye on this link for the release date once it is published:
If you received errors, you may need to look at your Jscript (although there were a few problems with the R9 beta release). Try this tool to check your jscript in anticipation of R9:

An official announcement has now been made by Microsoft and it may not be what everyone was hoping for:
Q2 2012 Service Update – New delivery schedule
In short:
- The update will be available for CRM Online on July 19th, but...
- It will not contain cross-browser support or Mobile client from MS, the "CRM Anywhere" functionality has been moved to Q4 2012 Service Update
Wish we could have received information about the delay earlier on, but there you go. I wrote down some of my thoughts on a blog post.
I hope we will soon get more details about the revised contents of Update Rollup 9, on-premises availability (the MS announcement refers to Update Rollup 10 in August), the state of custom workflow activity support in CRM Online, updated Activity Feeds solution etc. As R8 now looks to be more of an "R7.5", there will be quite a lot of changes for MS to deliver in R9.

Seems nothing made it.. all new functionality to be held back until the Q4 release and rollup 9 will be skipped.

The Q4 Service update "Update Rollup 11 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011" has been released but CRM anywhere and CRM mobility have not. Is there any expected date for them?Friday, October 19, 2012 9:44 AM

Cross browser support is slated for Rollup 12 Mohamed. As always, you can keep an eye on the link I mentioned earlier in this thread. I'm guessing December sometime.
