  • I still see spam posts by "raf sistem" in Visual C++ General (for example). Perhaps this is a different account? But it is clearly the same person.

    The MO of this person is to reply to very old threads. Another reason to lock threads after some period of inactivity.

  • I've now twice (yesterday and today) requested that raf sistem be banned (in the MSDN Moderators forum which is usually responsive).

    P.S. I started locking threads as soon as the OP marks a post as an answer or says in a post "thanks that answered my question". This not only excludes spammers looking for old threads to post in (at least in time ...) but also stops a rather larger problem namely that many people decide closed thread X is a perfect place to ask their completely new question.
