Need Help Re-installing! RRS feed

  • My husband and I purchased a subscription to Windows Live OneCare a while back.  The client installed on my PC indicates that I still have 4 months left on my subscription, so I'd imagine that my husband would have at least 4 months left -- maybe more -- since he installed Live OneCare after I had.  Anyway, we keep getting the run around telling us that you can't locate a valid subscription for us, and he needs to re-install your client since he recently had to rebuild his computer because it crashed.  Please help us!

  • Hello BubbaBartz, on your computer open One Care>Help>About Windows Live One Care and you will see the Live ID associated with your subscription. If you can recall the password to activate One Care on your husband's computer open One Care, select "Subscribe" and when asked for a Live ID enter the Live ID and password used to activate One care on your computer. Your subscription status will be recognized and One Care will activate.
