    Hi,

    I was planning to take the 70-414 in a few months, I originally was going to get the ms press exam ref book, but it looks like that might be delayed, does anyone know of any other books or resources that might be helpful for this exam?

    Hi,

    If you look at the exam details at: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?id=70-414 under skills measured you can see that knowledge about System Center 2012 is required, monitoring, ACS, System Center Operation Manager, how do updates with WSUS and System Center Center Configuration Manager, how to update VDI images, and a lot more.....

    For all skills measured listed you will have to look into whitepapers and guides that are currently available. I passed the exam in December and used whatever I could find on these topics in Google and I build a test-lab in Hyper-V. You can also use tools like VMware workstation/Player or Virtualbox instead of Hyper-V to build a test lab.

    O' Reilly's webshop has September 2013 listed as the planned availability date and I have not seen any other book for this exam yet. The books for 70-415 and 70-416 have the same delivery date, I am writing a guide on these two exams on how to study for the exam at my blog on http://www.rds-support.eu.
