Widnows Media Player erase all my playlist music from library

  I have Windows Media Player 11 since 2010.  I have added different playlists to my library over time.  Some of those CDs I ripped to the library are completely gone.  Can't find them anywhere in my computer.  I bought a used computer 3 months ago.  HP 2007.  My older computer was  xp1998.  Where are my files - my music???  Please help!
