Problems with cash transactions in MS Money Plus RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I have only recently started to use MS Money Plus. Previously I had been using one of the Quicken programs from which I transferred my data to MS Money Plus. Everything looks ok in Money Plus, with one exception. I have 4 investment accounts. Two of them show everything correctly, the other two show only buy and sell share activity, divident/interest payments only show up as unidentified cash transactions, the label dividend etc. does not show up as in the other two accounts. As a consequence, the portfolio summary in the latter two accounts does not show any income related items, only the capital appreciation.

Can anybody help? It is probably a simple thing to fix.

  • 1. How are the transactions from your broker getting into Money? Are you using PocketSense, or what?

    2. Are the accounts that are not getting dividend transactions 401K accounts? Those often get reported differently.

    3. Do you see the buys, sells, and  dividend transactions when you go to the website of your broker for the problem accounts?
