access to help pages HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    I have a similar problem.

    I can access to any CRM pages using IE, no problem. But if i try to access to help pages, i am receiving the error message below. (only at the help pages)

    Do you have any idea?

  • can you take a look at your application log and see if an error is logged.  Have a look at this KB and see if it helps.

  • Check that the application pool which the Help virtual directory is running under is the same as the parent Dynamics CRM site app pool in IIS.

  • Is it happening to all the help pages in all the CRM pages?

    try this url inside your server http://<servername>/help , if this working then that also shoudl work.

    if yes then you need to check whether the help application directory is running fine in the corresponding server.

    does help application(folder) has access to run in IIS.

    so try to make http://<servername>/help run first in the server, then it will run in CRM pages.

    if its not working then check the permissions of "help" application in IIS.
