Problem in installing live mesh RRS feed

    I'm in studying in a institution where i can connect to internet only through proxy servers provided with username and password.when i'm trying to install live mesh its not able to detect my internet connection prompting for username and password from me as my browser does whenever i start my internet session.

    MSE Update uses Automatic Update, so your proxy server would need to allow AU traffic to pass unheeded. If it requires authentication when looking for updates, you will need to update MSE manually as you can't save the proxy credentials as you can in Avast, for example.

    Note that MSE doesn't have an update engine, it uses Automatic Updates/Microsoft Update on your system. Once again, if you need to authenticate to use Windows update, the MSE updates will not work in the background and you will need to update manually.
