How do I create a field for use Lead AND Account forms (all forms really) RRS feed

  • Hi there,

    I have created some custom fields for my Lead Form.

    When the Lead becomes an Account, the fields are not available to put in the Account Form.

    I can create identical fields in the Account Form but the data doesn't get transferred.

    How do I create a field that can be used in both Lead and Account forms (all forms really).

    Any help would be appreciated

  • For the data to transfer across you need to review the relationship mapping from Lead to Account.

    In the default solution or a solution navigate to the relationship between Lead and Account and then click on Mapping on the left hand side. There you can review and edit the fields that are copied from Lead to Account when a Lead is qualified.
