[Q] Any other way to schedule exam without using Prometric?

Question
-
Since the last time I have used Prometric's web site they have updated their design. Apparently my account has also been deleted yet I cannot register with my email address because it says it is already being used but yet does not exist when I attempt to recover said account. Emailed Prometric and have not received any messages from them (no surprise, worse customer service) and I have already emailed Microsoft and all I got back was an email today with an answer that was totally unrelated to the email I sent them (no surprise there either).
So would anyone happen to know of ways around using Prometric to schedule Microsoft exams? Interested in the 70-640, 42, 46, 685, and 686 exams this year but if I'm unable to register than I guess I will be ignoring the Microsoft Cert path. Thanks for your time.

Apparently, you only have Prometric to seek for assistance in regards to this. Prometric is the authorized exam center for Microsoft.
(Reference: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification-exams.aspx)
Unless you are taking the Microsoft Office System certification then you will have to book via Prometric.
You may want to consider contacting Prometric again (https://www.prometric.com/en-us/contact-us/Pages/default.aspx)

No, Microsoft uses Prometric for the exams so you'll have to go through them. I suggest contacting prometric to see if they can either help you recover your account. I had an instance of having multiple prometric accounts and they were helpful enough to merge them into one for me though that was about 3-4 years ago so things might have changed since then in terms of customer service. Best I can say is try, try, try until you get someone helpful on the phone.
Be kind and Mark as Answer if I helped.

Perhaps you should try calling them instead of using email.
