Can i change my logon email address RRS feed

  • i would like to change the email addresss that i log in to my windows profile with.  is there any way to do this?

  • make a new profile up, make sure it works properly, then delete the one you wont be using.

  • yes, that's my problem

    i may not have access to this email address soon and wish to keep my profile but simply change the email address.

    i can't believe that this cannot be done....  or am naive here  ;-)

  • ok, i have now found that this is indeed possible.  well, sort of

    you can now do this by following the link below


    however, i am on the understanding that if you have a microsoft type of address (hotmail, msn etc) then you cannot achieve this.  i guess that once you're in.... you aint ever gunna leave.

    so at least that helps anyone changing companies etc to keep their profiles by using a different email address.
