WPA problem after reboot RRS feed

  • Question

  • Windows xp pro sp2

    OEM software

Been using xp for over a year now, this problem happens only when playing games "quake4" "swat" sometimes the pc will reboot while playing..on bootup..a window appears..

Due to hardware changes on this computer, you will need to reactivate your Windows product..then...

Your Windows product has not been activated with Microsoft yet. To activate Windows, use the Product Activation Wizard.

This happend 3 times in one night not long ago & is very frustrating.."is there a fix for this problem".

I'm inclined to install Windows 2000 pro on a second hard drive & use that for games & escape this validating loop.
