Workflow Paused due to error

Hi Guys

Over the last few days I have been intermittenly having all workflows stop with the very generic message an error has occured. Today i was able to get a bit more out of the system ( i currently do not have access to the server backend)

and recieved the error message "Workflow paused due to error: Unhandled Exception: System.Workflow.ComponentModel.Serialization.WorkflowMarkupSerializationException: Hashtable insert failed. Load factor too high" as well as a whole load of other information.

the error code number is -2147201001

has anyone seen this type of error message or know where i can get further information? I am currently chasing our hosting partner for error codes from the server
