Windows Live Hotmail Question - How to make my Inbox my default RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ok - I'm about to pull my few remaining hairs out!  I've set up my Hotmail so that I'm signed in automatically, but every time I try to access the service, I'm taken to a "Today page" instead of taken straight to my Inbox where I'd like to go.  Now I know that I should be able to fix this by going to Options / Today Page Settings / and then checking the circle that says "Skip the Today page and take me straight to my inbox."  And believe me, I've tried this a few million times, and yes I've closed my browser and tried it in new ones, and I've rebooted my machine to no avail.  I'm at my wits end and this is either gonna drive me to drink or to gmail (can't figure out which one is worse) if I can't figure this out soon. HEEEEEEEELP!

PS - I'm not sure that it matters, but I'm using a new HP Pavilion Entertainment PC with Windows Vista 64 bit, and I've got IE version 8.0.6001.18813
