Microsoft could have servers all over the world in various countries, that could be identified by location i.e. Canada, USA, China, India, etc..
What I suggest is that when the
webmaster tools user submits a verified
URL, those servers would independently visit that
URL and cache a thumbnail and the code of the
website it is being given to read. This would help visually identify
DNS problems that are unfortunately very common. The results would then be displayed in the control panel showing the thumbnail and a
scrollable text area with the code read by that particular server.
Hope this helps.
P.S. Can you check out what the problem is with
www.algarvecarhire.pt? It is a very cool
website, but somehow Windows Live Search does not agree..
Cheers
