CRM 2011 - Change Sort Order of Personal View RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Forum,

Just would like to know if it's possible to change sort order in the result returned by the personal view created from Advanced Find.

I have created a view which has a date column but when result loads it shows date from oldest to newest. I want it other way around.

I know clicking on the column will do it but I have to do it every time I load this view. I have tried using "Filter" functionality but that doesn't save sorting changes.

Is there anyway I can set it for once like we do it in system views so end user doesn't have to sort it manually every time ?

I assume I have to modify FetchXML of this view either by using JavaScript or Plug-in? which one is more preferable?

I think in plugin I have to use RetriveMultiple but if Javascript then how to trigger this event? (onload of view).

    Thanks for your time.

    Cheers,

  • You can manage using Advance Find. On right side there is an option.
